UnBill Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the UnBill mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by UnBill (“UnBill,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

UnBill provides tools intended to help users identify, organize, monitor, and manage subscriptions, recurring charges, renewals, and free trials.

Features may include:

• manual subscription tracking,

• subscription detection from connected accounts,

• reminders and alerts,

• analytics and summaries,

• premium features available through subscription or one-time purchase.

UnBill does not guarantee that every subscription, recurring charge, or billing event will be identified correctly or at all.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account or connect a third-party account. You agree to:

• provide accurate and complete information,

• keep your login credentials secure,

• promptly update your information if it changes,

• accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Connected Accounts and Permissions

If you choose to connect Gmail or another third-party account, you authorize UnBill to access and process the information necessary to provide the requested features.

You acknowledge that:

• your use of third-party services remains subject to their own terms and privacy policies,

• UnBill is not responsible for interruptions, changes, or restrictions imposed by third-party services,

• you may revoke access at any time, but some features may stop functioning.

5. Subscription Detection Disclaimer

UnBill uses automated systems, rules, and/or artificial intelligence to identify possible subscriptions and recurring payments. These results are provided for informational and convenience purposes only.

You understand and agree that:

• results may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate,

• some merchants may not be recognized,

• trial periods, renewal dates, or amounts may be estimated,

• you remain solely responsible for reviewing your subscriptions and financial obligations.

6. No Financial or Legal Advice

The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. UnBill does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, or financial advice.

Any recommendations, alerts, or insights shown in the Service are not professional advice and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial decisions.

7. Payments and Premium Features

Certain features of the Service may require payment.

If you purchase a subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play:

• billing will be handled by the applicable platform,

• renewals and cancellations are governed by that platform’s rules,

• you are responsible for managing your subscription through your app store account unless otherwise stated.

Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable once processed.

8. Free Trials

We may offer free trials for premium features. Unless otherwise disclosed, when a free trial ends, your paid subscription may begin automatically if you do not cancel before the trial period ends.

It is your responsibility to review the trial terms presented at the time of signup and to cancel before renewal if you do not wish to continue.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose,

• access or attempt to access data you are not authorized to access,

• interfere with or disrupt the Service,

• reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or exploit the Service except as permitted by law,

• upload malicious code or harmful content,

• use the Service to infringe the rights of others,

• misuse connected account permissions.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, content, and technology, is owned by or licensed to UnBill and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

11. User Content

If you submit or upload any content, data, notes, feedback, or other materials to the Service, you represent that you have the right to do so.

You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a limited license to host, process, store, and use such content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if:

• you violate these Terms,

• your use creates risk for us or others,

• required by law,

• we discontinue the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request deletion of your account, subject to our legal retention obligations.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNBILL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE,

• THE RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE,

• ANY SUBSCRIPTION WILL BE DETECTED,

• ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED,

• THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNBILL AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNBILL’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO UNBILL THROUGH THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless UnBill and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• your use of the Service,

• your violation of these Terms,

• your violation of any rights of another person or entity,

• your misuse of connected accounts or data.

16. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice where required by law.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which UnBill operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
